I have the most updated drivers and Direct X software, but when I try to play the game in 3D-accelerated mode, the players, refs and stadium details are invisible.|||Because the game is so old it doesn't know how to talk to the new card in anything other than 'software' mode.
You could try looking for a patch/update to the game or try running it in compatibility mode, but you will encounter this more and more as you look at older games.
