What does it mean in Photoshop CS5 when it says your 3D Scene exceeds the limit?

Okay. So I am trying to create 3D Text in Photoshop but it says my 3D Scene Exceeds the limit of lights and/ or textures for the video card's hardware accelerated 3D rendering. As long as the limits are exceeded, 3D rendering will be done in software only, and some features (e.g. Repousse) will be disabled.

What do I need to do?|||It means that with your current computer and video card, it can't show you all the different lighting and texture effects simeltaneously. It then goes on to say that it is actually performing those operations (except for special ones like the ones mentioned) even if you can't see them right. This may be a problem later beacuse when you flatten the image (make it into a png, gif, or jpeg) the 3D text might not look like you expected. If you have the option to turn off some lighting effects or texture it might help, but then you might not get what you want. I often run into problems like these when trying to work with large pictures or complex operations

What is wrong with my Video Card?

I had Windows XP a few weeks ago, and could play Civilization IV pretty much just fine. Then the computer wouldnt go to the start up screen, so we uninstalled XP and upgraded to Vista Home Premium and wiped the Hard Drive. Now Civilization IV is telling me that I cant play because I dont have 3d Graphics. I cant play WoW, Maplestory, or the Sims either, none of which I had a problem with before. It says that the card is updated so I cant find any Windows Driver Updates for it either. What do I do?

These are my Video Card Specs

Adapter type - Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

Chip type - Brookdale-G Graphics chip accelerated VGA BIOS

Dac type - 8 bit

Adapter String - VGA|||Yeah, with vista, you require new drivers, instead of the drivers used for windows xp, your graphics card company should have the new drivers posted on their website, and allowing you to run the same old games again ^_^. Also with vista, I have found that the graphics card runs even faster, an added bonus (Y)|||If this is the same card that you had then vista can not talk to it progressively so in that case you may need to get a new computer or go to this link http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/ and I hope this helps you.

P.S. I am not positive with the link so ok.

my old video card has 64mb of ram

will this significantly improve my computer speed?|||It is a downgrade. While Intel onboard graphics arent that strong, the 845's do have dynamic shared system memory up to 64MB and they support much more advanced features like directx 9 or 10

The RIVA TNT2 was a graphics processing unit manufactured by Nvidia starting in early 1999.It only supports Direct 3D 6 (what they used to call DirectX)

Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller is about 3 years newer.

(1) Get a new video card

(2) Don't use Maple Story|||you cant you need to buy a new vid card. Post your comp specs and we can pick one out for you.|||buy a new video card Nivida Geforce 5500 and up will work just fine for maple story otherwise you will not be able to play game without it try wal-mart for a cheap but good one|||That is one of the worst video cards that people still own. It is over 5 years old (it was still bottom of the heap then too) and cannot run anything even at the lowest settings. Get a new computer.

Video card problems.?

Hi, I've gotten a few problems on my PC lately. It started when my PC crashed 5 days ago. I had to reinstall my OS, but when I was done doing that I noticed my screen was messed up and my sound was not working.

I have fixed the sound problem (downloaded RealTek AC97), however there is a problem with my video card. Ever since my PC crashed whenever I scroll down a page, for example, it takes really long for the screen to refresh. I have never had this problem before.

I scanned my PC and these are the results:

Could anyone please help me? Thanks in advance. I really don't know what to do.|||Your scan indicates you are using the generic VGA driver that is the most basic of use. Good news is your video card is working, bad news is that you don't have the correct driver for it. If you video card is a stand alone card, meaning it is a separate card installed in a slot on your system board, you can physically look at it and obtain the model and make of it. Then go to the manufacturer website and download a driver. If it is an onboard card, meaning it is part of the system board, you can go to the manufacturer of the board and get the video driver from them.|||Whatever your video card is, it's not installed correctly. Reinstall the drivers.

Can intel chip in compuer of 256 mb can run nfs shift? without video card?

by directx diagnostic tool it mention memory of 256 mb but can't play nfs shift nad also tells that it is 3d accelerated and directx 11 enabled . so it means that nfs shift can't be played without video card??|||You need a standalone graphics card to play any games, integrated graphics are not sufficient. The amount of RAM on the card isn't very important (even a 512mb card is plenty for NFS Shift) but you do need a decent card like a Radeon HD 5570/GeForce GT430 or better. Your computer also needs at least 2gb of system RAM.|||That must be a really old system with on-board GPU. I wouldn't waste my time with it for any gaming purposes. Any money you spend will be wasted.

Just go here and select the games you want to run. It will tell you just how weak your system is.

Have fun|||256 MB is far too little. You would need at least 2 GB (2048 MB) to run any modern game at its lowest settings.|||no

u req a good graphic card with dx 11

and ram of 2 gb atleast
