Adding a old video card to my computer with no card?

i have this computer

and ive had it for about a month

costed me 20$ at a yardsale

has a 250gb hdd

2.4ghz processor

3gb of ram

windows 7

and no graphics card

it has onboard graphics but i think thats a bit of a downside compared to a graphics card

i have a old AGP Nvidia tnt2 Riva

will this significantly improve performance on my pc compared to my standard onboard graphics?

my current graphics are

Intel(r)845G"845GL"845GE"845GV Graphics Chip Accelerated VGA

BIOS

Video RAM

3D Yes No

Hardware T&L No

Pixel Shader version 0.0

Vertex Shader version 0.0

i guess it has 8mb of video ram

but it didnt show up here

my old video card has 64mb of ram

will this significantly improve my computer speed?|||It is a downgrade. While Intel onboard graphics arent that strong, the 845's do have dynamic shared system memory up to 64MB and they support much more advanced features like directx 9 or 10

The RIVA TNT2 was a graphics processing unit manufactured by Nvidia starting in early 1999.It only supports Direct 3D 6 (what they used to call DirectX)

Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller is about 3 years newer.

Update the driver for the chipset which includes the graphics driver

Compusa has a lot of AGP cards

You can get one that will be an upgrade
